Tian Tian Hainanese Chicken Rice 天天海南鸡饭

Hainanese Chicken rice will need not further introduction and this is one of the stores which we spotted having long queues. We were there once before but the food was already sold out! So this time we will not miss it again!















And on the day we went, it seems that this store is quite popular among the tourists as most of them are queuing are referring to the travel guide for this store. And interestingly, this is probably one of the few chicken rice stores with their own website!

A closer look

We forgot to request for change of the chicken parts, so chicken breast meat was given as a default. Picky Girlfriend being very picky of course, did not really like this as this is the part that is less tender.

However, this store proves us wrong. Even the chicken breast meat was yummy and is much tender than other chicken rice stores!















Rice was grainy and of the right texture, has a nice fragrance too. Goes well with the home made chilli but you can eat it on its own too!

And the best thing of this chicken rice was actually.... the skin! So smooth and fragrant! Yes definitely sinful and a strain on the wasitline but this is just irresistible! and even Picky Girlfriend who does not usually eat chicken skin can't resist this too! *slurps*
