At $13.80Nett, we thought it was quite a deal since we would be able to have unlimited serving of xiao long baos when a basket of xiao long bao can easily cost quite expensive if you buy from other places.
It was really buffet style (take it yourself) except of some items that you would have to order from the staff. So here are some of the items that we tried. Variety of the buffet was quite limited, with different variation of dumplings that made up the bulk of the menu.
Jelly fish and the vegetarian dishes (springrolls and mock meat made of beancurd was quite nice!)
Picky girlfriend really has a soft spot for noodles so this is something she cannot resist.
So we were really looking forward for some piping hot xiao long bao and guo tie (pan fried dumplings) since that would be freshly made from the kitchen!

I think this was the only dish we really enjoyed the most! Xiao long baos go really well with vinegar. We are not sure whether you love it with vinegar but we are not exaggerating cos this is really how Fussy Boyfriend ate his xiao long bao.

Overall, it was quite a different buffet experience from the rest we had before. Go for this if you really love dumplings and xiao long baos. Otherwise the variety can be quite limited and you can go if you just want a snack, and not as full meal. Hi Tea buffet timing is from 3pm-5.30pm :)
