Wild Honey all day Breakfast

There has been quite a rave about brunch places recently so Picky Girlfriend and Fussy Boyfriend decided to check one of them out! So on one fine Saturday we headed to Wild Honey for breakfast! We were really there quite early so managed to beat the breakfast crowd.

The menu is quite interesting as it serves breakfast selection from different countries.

Camera testing while waiting for food to arrive

This is quite a random shot but Picky Girlfriend really love how the sugar cubes are presented.

Our latte which went well with the breakfast.

We really love the ambiance! The lightings were a little dim but allowing the sunlight to penetrate into the restaurant made the place even cozier, love the place!

English Set ($22)

Fussy Boyfriend ordered the English set which we both thought was quite a safe option that is suitable for carnivorous Fussy Boyfriend! Complete set with scrambled eggs, pork sausage, sauteed mushrooms, baked beans, bacon, grilled tomato and a thick brioche.

The sauteed mushrooms were worth mentioning as it was so well seasoned and yummy!

A good selection and Fussy Boyfriend felt satisfied for his selection!

European Set ($18)

Picky Girlfriend's European Egg Benedict. Poached egg with sauteed mushrooms!

At first glance, we had an impression this the serving is kinda small but after finishing it, it was surprisingly enough! The thick brioche (bread that is made with extra eggs, milk and butter) was really quite the highlight as the bread was very light, fluffy and has a tinge of sweetness. Thumbs up especially for Picky Girlfriend who is not a fan of bread finished it to its crumbs.

Just have a mouthful of bread, egg, ham and mushroom, the combination is heavenly!

Oozing poached eggs! Everytime we looked at this picture we will drool! ;)

This was the Californian's selection ($18). Scrambled eggs with tofu, capsicums. Not so much to rave about as compared to the English and European set we tried!

In general, the food was really not bad but we thought prices were a little steep but for the ambiance and a little indulgence on a lazy weekend, this is still worth checking out! With such all day-breakfast menu, you can now afford to sleep in on weekends and still be able to enjoy breakfast any time! :)

A pity the place became really crowded so we had to leave the place and not being able to chill out with another cuppa as much as we wanted.

Tips:
  • Since reservation was not allowed in the outlet, be there early to beat the breakfast crowd, otherwise be prepared to queue!

Both Picky Girlfriend and Fussy Boyfriend's rating for breakfast: 3.75/5 (Would have scored a 4 if price was made more affordable)
