Lucky Plaza Economical Rice

Something that is very popular for lunch - economical mixed vegetables rice! Believe this will not be foreign to anyone - essentially you pick the dish you want to go with you rice! So we headed to Lucky Plaza this time. This is the place Fussy Boyfriend has spotted when he was working around that area previously.

Each order of seafood cost $1.50, meat $1 and vegetable $0.50 (minimum purchase $2.50)

Fussy boyfriend being a super meat eater order 2 meat and 1 scrambled egg (considered as vegetable ). So he highly recommends the fried chicken piece (炸鸡). The chicken are fried till golden brown and very crispy on the exterior and meat is tender and juicy. Very well marinated too!

This is one of the more popular dish so it gets run out pretty fast. Waiting time would be 15-20 mins.

The rice serving is very big so would be good to inform the owner on lesser rice if you are a smaller eater. Also asked for braised gravy to go with the rice. The gravy is thick and fragrant and made the rice tastier.

Long queues expected during lunch hour so be there early!

Both Picky Girlfriend and Fussy Boyfriend Rating for economical rice: 3.5/5
